The arm targets payload to weight ratio approaching 1:1, much higher than current common 1:4 and max 1:2.

Human Friendly

Active Safety
Active (non-passive) safety system uses continuous object detection at each joint of the arm. This stops the robot, before it collides and is more practical than having to isolate robots in cages. It is also safer than passive safety on some robots that stops robots on collision.
Smooth Motion
Natural continuous (non-step) movement replaces stepped. This allows human counterparts to easily interpret movement trajectory, increasing collaboration efficiency.

Unmatched Reliability

Self calibrating
M2 module has multiple integrated encoder that self calibrates its movement. This is compared to industry complex units that need periodical maintenance to maintain performance.
Self maintained
M2 modules utilise an innovative design that allows them to be replaced with maximum ease. This could allow M2-based arms to maintain one another by replacing defective units with minimum downtime.

Disruption Opportunity

M2 is an upcoming modern collaborative robot arm made of repeatable models. The modular structure of the arm allows for easy maintenance and makes maintenance automation (self-maintenance) feasible. M2 modules can be used to assemble an arm of 6-axes and beyond.

M2 arm has an integrated active (non-passive) safety system; beneficial when human safety is a top priority. It is also useful for smaller spaces, as it removes the need for robot cages. The arm to have a high payload to weight ratio, and predictable smooth non-stepped motion.

We are looking to have 50 unit pre-order requests to validate demand. If everything goes according to plan, we expect to ship first units by the end of next year 2021.
